The Motorleague consists of lead singer Don Levandier, bassist Shawn Chaisson, guitarist Nathan Jones, and drummer Francis Landry. After the release of their sophomore effort Acknowledge, Acknowledge last summer, the band has been hard at work in support of it, earning themselves a nomination for ‘Emerging Artist of the Year’ at this year’s SiriusXM Indie Awards.
The approach of The Motorleague’s songwriting, according to Levandier, is simple – writing about what he knows and sees. Case in point, “Good Men” off of Acknowledge, Acknowledge tiptoes between self-reflection and confrontation through the hard-hitting riffs.
The punk-influenced hard rockers recently wrapped up a series of tour dates with Protest The Hero in Eastern Canada, and their own headlining dates in Western Canada. The Motorleague will be continuing to tour this summer, with an updated list of dates available on their website.
