Vancouver’s indie-rock darlings The Zolas have released their third full-length album, Swooner. In support of the release, the band will be kicking off a spring tour in Kingston in two weeks time.
The Zolas had hinted that they were refreshing their sound during the process of writing and recording Swooner. As stated in a post on their website, the band wanted to create a ‘weird, catchy pop album that says something’. The release of the album was preceded by an EP titled Wino Oracle, released last Fall amidst a series of European and North American tour dates.
