One party that we can always look forward to is the annual 604 Records Christmas party. This year’s edition was this past Thursday at The Roxy. The evening featured performances from Dani & Lizzy, Kieran Mercer, Bucko & Toad, Tonye Aganaba, and The Katherines and showcased the musical diversity of the record label.
This past Friday night, Lovecoast held their 3rd annual Christmas Benefit at The Fox Cabaret with all proceeds of the evening going to Music Heals. There were a few themes that occurred throughout the evening: the power of music, girl power, and good ol’ holiday cheer.
The Red Truck Beer Company opened their Vancouver brewery earlier this year, followed by the on-site restaurant. In conjunction with the opening of the The Truck Stop Diner, Red Truck, CFOX, and 93.7 JRFM previously announced the Red Truck Parking Lot Series. Saturday’s line-up consisted of The Gaff, Pigeon Park, Good for Grapes, The Dudes, and Head of the Herd.

The 604 Records Christmas party was just how you would imagine it – a room full of some of Vancouver’s finest musicians and those who enjoy the music of those very artists. By the time the music started, The Belmonte Bar was already packing in quite the crowd on a Thursday night.
