BESTiE has released the perfect late summer jam with their latest single, “Bubble Bath”.
The track is as bubbly and fun as you can imagine, complete with appropriate sound effects. Produced by Shawn Cole (Said The Whale, Bend Sinister), “Bubble Bath” features BESTiE’s signature tropical-pop feel. The band will be playing a hometown show at The Astoria this Saturday August 29th.
Speed Control have kept their status of hardest working band from the Yukon alive this summer, as they have been busy touring and running their RAWK camps as they travel across Canada.

His latest single, “No Words”, is an electro-pop track with a touch of funk. Hassle himself demonstrates the up-tempo nature of the song in the music video, showing off his best MJ-inspired moves. The song was inspired by a case of unrequited love, and the conflicting feelings of hope and despair.
Edmonton’s Revenge of the Trees is currently touring Western Canada in support of their new EP Into The Night, which will be released on April 14th. The band will be playing two shows in Vancouver – at Falconetti’s on April 5th & at The Railway Club on April 6th.
Vancouver alt-pop band Twin River recently released a music video for their song “Break to Bend” from their recent release, Should The Light Go Out (via Light Organ Records). Directed by Anthem Jackson, the video features a phantom bike chase and the realization of innocence lost, with our beautiful city of Vancouver as the backdrop.
JPNSGRLS recently released a video for their song “Red & Green” – just in time for the holiday season. The song is a part of Light Organ Record’s Christmas compilation, Sleighed, which was released last year on iTunes. The band has had a busy year with the release of their debut record and a packed tour schedule.
