SOTD: Speed Control – This Time

Speed Control have kept their status of hardest working band from the Yukon alive this summer, as they have been busy touring and running their RAWK camps as they travel across Canada.

Speed Control will be finishing their tour in Vancouver, playing two shows at The Railway Club on August 29th and 30th.

The Good In Everyone and Alea Rae will be kicking off their co-headlining, cross-Canada tour in their hometown of Vancouver at The Fox Cabaret on Thursday May 21st. Joining them for the evening will be Alexandria Maillot and Dante Hadden. The line-up for the evening looks to be a good one – full of the brightest up-and-comers from Vancouver’s indie music scene.

EVENTS: Mother Mother Canadian Tour Dates

Mother Mother is gearing up for the release of their fifth studio album, Very Good Bad Thing, available next week on November 4th via Universal Music Canada. The Vancouver alt-rock band will be heading on a national tour shortly after the release. The final date of the tour will be a hometown show on December 13th in Vancouver at the Orpheum Theatre.

EVENTS: Tokyo Police Club 2014 Canadian Tour Dates

Tokyo Police Club played the Squamish Valley Music Festival this past weekend and are currently amidst a series of US tour dates. The band will return to home soil in October for the Halifax Pop Explosion and will be headlining their own Canadian tour beginning November 7th in Winnipeg. Said The Whale will be supporting all the tour dates while The Pack A.D. will be playing select dates.
