The first CD releases of 2010 will be coming out tomorrow, and among those releases is Kesha’s debut album, ‘Animal’. Kesha has been working her way up in the music scene for a few years now, but has been garnerning attention since her vocals appeared on Flo Rida’s ‘Right Round’ and also heating up the charts in her own right with her first single ‘Tik Tok’
The thing you need to know about Kesha’s music is that it’s honestly about one thing: fun. Most of the tracks on ‘Animal’ detail a typical night out on the town in a big city, and it’s been awhile since there has been someone like Kesha who doesn’t take herself -too- seriously (and pulls it off, at that). There are a few mellower tracks like ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’ and our SOTD, ‘Stephen’.

Judging by the response of ‘Tik Tok’, Kesha may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you can’t deny that she knows how to write a catchy song.
