Local Vancouver band BESTiE presents the first annual #Safe Fest, a music festival that will not only put the spotlight on the local music community, but also offers music fans of all-ages to be able to afford, access, and participate in. The venues for the festival will be all over Vancouver, and the full schedule will be released Monday September 30th.
A full festival pass is $15, while the cover charge for some of the showcases will range from $5 to $10. All of the shows at Astorinos, Red Cat, and Neptoon will be entrance by donation. All of the proceeds from #Safe Fest will go towards the Safe Amplification Society and The Music Tree to raise funds for the establishment of a permanent all-ages music venue in Vancouver.
#Safe Fest is currently looking for bands, DJs, and acts who are interested in being a part of the event – with the submission deadline soon approaching on Friday September 27th. The festival is also looking for volunteers and sponsors. If you would like to get involved, the contact links and further festival information can be found at http://www.safefest.ca.
