The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is bringing back one of the highlights from this year’s festival – Phildel will be returning to Vancouver to perform at CBC Studio 700 on Monday November 18, 2013.
Described in her biography as a singer, songwriter, and composer “inspired by fantasy and driven by imagination”, Phildel can certainly be defined as an original. With her ethereal vocals and imaginative soundscapes, it is no wonder the audience at the Vancouver Folk Festival this past summer fell in love with Phildel’s music.
Her debut studio album, The Disappearance of the Girl, was released earlier this year. If you’re unsure if you’ve heard any of her music before, you have heard her piano composition ‘The Kiss‘ in a little advertisement from Apple for the iPad 3.
