The rain in Vancouver often provides basis for creativity, and this is no different for electronic duo Onelight.
Consisting of singer Amy Usher and drummer/producer Hamish Thomson, the union of their creativity and vision for music has been embellished into their upcoming self-titled debut album, to be released on November 26th on iTunes and other digital retailers.
With the influence of folk, indie rock, and electronica in Onelight’s sound, there seems to be a delicate balance where electronic and organic meet – and Usher’s ethereal vocals parallel the textured sounds nicely.
Onelight will be holding an album release party on November 23rd at The Media Club, and will be joined by DJ Mark Hjorty and Vebrilli Sound. Doors are at 8:00pm, tickets are $10 at the door. 19+ show.
