Vancouver’s own Good For Grapes are returning to their roots in the most generous of ways – a fundraiser for Project Limelight on September 6th.
Project Limelight is a free program for kids aged 8 to 15 in the community of Strathcona who have a passion for theatre. The focus of the project is to provide the opportunity for those who may not ordinarily have access to acting classes, and to inspire kids to discover strengths, develop confidence, and build friendships.
Good For Grapes, along with The Ruffled Feathers, Smash Boom Pow, Killing Time DJs, and MEZ will be performing at the Korean Community Centre on Saturday September 6th . A silent auction, photo booth, and a full bar will also be available. More importantly, this event is all-ages and 100% of the money will be going to Project Limelight.
Doors open at 7:00pm, with the event scheduled until 2:00pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door (if you bring a friend, tickets are 2 for $18!). Available online via Event Brite.
