Vision is everything. This is something that Tove Styrke is familiar with.
The pop songstress got her start on Swedish Idol, releasing her self-titled album shortly afterwards at the age of 18. The album reached platinum status and even received a Swedish Grammy nomination. Rather than riding on the success of her debut, Styrke decided to move back home with her parents in Umeå in Northern Sweden to figure out her musical identity.
The result? Styrke found her vision for her second album, which has been preceeded by her Borderline EP. The reaction to her newer material, which has influences of mid-90s pop, 80s ska, and noughties electronica, has been positive. More importantly, Styrke feels confident about the direction she is going in, and is ready to share her music on tour.
