Maisie Peters is good enough, but she captures the feeling of feeling inadequate beautifully in her latest track, “Good Enough”.
Peters continues to perfect her art as a singer-songwriter that boldly wears her heart on her sleeves. “Good Enough” highlights the rawest we’ve seen of Peters’ songwriting yet as she painfully reflects: “I used to think that if I tried my best I’d always win / But I’ll sit in your favourite dress and ask you where you’ve been” – the emotion in her voice is reflected as almost a gut-wrenching tremble.
Needless to say, this song is currently on repeat on our official sad girl summer playlist.
