Last week, the City of Surrey announced the details for this year’s Party for the Planet – including musical headliners Said The Whale and guests Andrew Allen, Dear Rouge, Jordan Klassen, and Jeremy Fisher. The fourth annual festival will be held on Saturday April 26th and continues to be one of the largest Earth Day events in British Columbia.

If there were a recipe for Jordan Klassen’s music, it would include a touch of wonder and a whole lot of sincerity. Next week, Klassen will be heading down to Austin, Texas for this year’s SXSW. As part of Music BC/BeatRoute Magazine/Winniecooper.net’s showcase, Klassen will be playing at The Velveeta Room (521 E 6th St.) on Saturday March 15th.
