If there were a recipe for Jordan Klassen鈥檚 music, it would include a touch of wonder and a whole lot of sincerity.
The spark of imagination in Klassen鈥檚 music ignites through the opening track of Repentance (released September 2013) and continues to manifest throughout the rest of the album. The layers in the instrumentation showcase the intricacy of Klassen鈥檚 musical craft paired with the reflective nature of his lyrics. The first single off the album, “Go To Me”, is representative of those elements.

Next week, Klassen will be heading down to Austin, Texas for this year鈥檚 SXSW. As part of Music BC/BeatRoute Magazine/Winniecooper.net鈥檚 showcase, Klassen will be playing at The Velveeta Room聽 (521 E 6th St.) on Saturday March 15th along with other local acts BESTiE, Dead Ghost, Bend Sinister, We Are The City, and No Sinner.
