The 604 Records Christmas party was just how you would imagine it – a room full of some of Vancouver’s finest musicians and those who enjoy the music of those very artists. By the time the music started, The Belmonte Bar was already packing in quite the crowd on a Thursday night.

604 Records will be throwing their 5th annual Christmas Party this Thursday December 11th at The Belmonte Bar. The evening will include live performances from Kate Kurdyak, Cat Thomson, and Bucko & Toad.
CAT THOMSON ALBUM RELEASE PARTY, 604 Records – November 29, 2014
Cat Thomson celebrated her album release two weekends ago at the brand new 604 Records sound space filled with friends and family. There was a glow to Thomson’s performance, paired perfectly with the proud faces of all of those in attendance.

Earlier this week, Cat Thomson released her debut EP Puzzle through 604 Records. The six-track album was produced by Kevvy of Fake Shark-Real Zombie and showcases Thomson’s rich vocals and dynamic arrangements.

Cat Thomson is wrapping up her recent Spring Into Summer tour which graced stages in Western Canada and with an appearance in Toronto during Canadian Music Week. The last show of her Spring tour will be at Backstage Lounge at Granville Island here in Vancouver.

With her darkly ethereal vocals and a knack for dynamic arrangements, Cat Thomson is ready to tackle the charts with her debut single, “Sticks & Stones”, set for release tomorrow (October 22nd) on iTunes. The singer-songwriter has been paving her musical path from the moment she started piano lessons at age five to studying opera for five years at Louisana State University on a full scholarship.
