Lovecoast will be kicking off their Western Canadian tour dates this Friday November 7th at The Waldorf. The band released their debut EP, Chasing Tides, earlier this week.

Mother Mother is gearing up for the release of their fifth studio album, Very Good Bad Thing, available next week on November 4th via Universal Music Canada. The Vancouver alt-rock band will be heading on a national tour shortly after the release. The final date of the tour will be a hometown show on December 13th in Vancouver at the Orpheum Theatre.

This past Wednesday, supporters of local music were brought together by a performance of David Vertesi (of Hey Ocean!) who was supported by Windmills and Rosie June at the Anza Club. The show was the last in a series of Western Canadian tour dates in support of Vertesi’s upcoming sophomore record.

As the title of Morgan’s album is Golden, the dress code of the evening was aptly themed with everything gold. Shimmery treats and shiny decorations detailed the venue, which was filled with friends, family, and fans.
