It was love at first listen for some of us, a few years ago, hearing Lights’ music playing in the background during the series of Old Navy commercials. Since then, Lights has moved past selling sweaters for corporate America to making a place for herself in Canadian music, which is great to see. But she also has a skill in covering other people’s songs adding the ‘Lights’ magic to the chosen ones.
