REVIEW: The Pierces – Love You More EP

The Pierces have established a strong start to 2011, as they released their new EP, Love You More, as a prelude for their fourth full-length album You & I – which is slated for release on March 14, 2011.

The direction of The Pierces music in their new EP doesn’t stray too far from their previous material, but rather showcases a more polished sound. It is important to point out – although the sound of their new music is more polished, by no means does that mean that the essence of The Pierces has dissipated – the title track, ‘Love You More’, gives off a vintage-folk vibe that is unmistakably theirs.

If the EP is any indication, The Pierces are continuing to perfect their craft, and we can’t wait to hear what their forthcoming album will bring.

Tracklisting:
1. Love You More
2. We Can Make It
3. We Are Stars
4. To The Grave
