Cat Thomson celebrated her album release two weekends ago at the brand new 604 Records sound space filled with friends and family. There was a glow to Thomson’s performance, paired perfectly with the proud faces of all of those in attendance.
Performing songs from her debut EP Puzzle, a handful of unreleased songs, as well as a cover of Ellie Goulding’s “Lights”, Thomson recalled memories of touring in the summer between songs. There were two sets during the evening, with the first being a stripped down acoustic set, followed by a full band later in the evening.
It was a night full of good company and great wine, highlighted by the powerhouse vocals of Thomson. Be sure to check out Thomson’s upcoming performances at the 5th annual 604 Records Christmas Party at the Belmont Bar on December 11th and at Anza Club on December 18th.
Puzzle is available now on iTunes. For more information on Cat Thomson and her upcoming shows, head over to: http://catthomsonmusic.com.
