There’s a new music festival in town, and their goal is to support local Vancouver musicians in a post-pandemic world. The Blind Pig Festival kicks off on August 9th at the Performance Works Theatre in Granville Island. Early bird ticket pricing for shows is $25, only until Sunday, August 6th.
The Blind Pig Festival was ideated by the founders of Clubcar Beverages who have always been passionate about supporting live music and emerging artists. In case you’re curious about the name, the term ‘blind pig’ is a prohibition-era term for speakeasies in the Vancouver area!
The inaugural festival lineup includes Michaela Slinger, Riun Garner, Cody Lawless, Cam Blake, Locarno, Mosaic Riddim, DJ EVM, Brass Camel, Badmny, Bo Henrik, Sylvie Cox, Pistol Whip The Devil, and FKA Rayne.
