Vancouver’s very own Belle Game is back, and they’re sounding bigger and better than ever. The band continues to build on the dark pop soundscapes that were introduced in their debut album Ritual Tradition Habit back in 2013. Their latest track “Bring Me” weaves in subsonic rhythms with a crescendo of vocals by Andrea Lo. The band’s sophomore effort, Fear Nothing, was released today through Arts & Crafts.

Produced by Shawn Cole (Said The Whale, Bend Sinister), “Bubble Bath” features BESTiE’s signature tropical-pop feel. The band will be playing a hometown show at The Astoria this Saturday August 29th.

It’s no doubt that Erik Hassle has smooth vocals, but did you know he’s also a smooth dancer… in the kitchen? His latest single, “No Words”, is an electro-pop track with a touch of funk. Hassle himself demonstrates the up-tempo nature of the song in the music video, showing off his best MJ-inspired moves. The song was inspired by a case of unrequited love, and the conflicting feelings of hope and despair.

Directed by Anthem Jackson, the video features a phantom bike chase and the realization of innocence lost, with our beautiful city of Vancouver as the backdrop.
