You may have heard a song by Madi Diaz without realizing. The now Los Angeles based singer-songwriter has had a few of her songs featured on some of your favourite TV shows. Diaz recently released her fourth full-length studio album, Phantom, via Nettwerk Records. Diaz is currently on tour supporting Dale Earnhardt Jr. with a stop in Vancouver tomorrow night at the Biltmore Cabaret.

Louise Burns is no stranger to the local music scene with her melancholy blend of noir-pop. Her sophomore release, The Midnight Mass, was released last year through Light Organ Records. “Heaven” is the latest track off the record, and the video was directed by Daniel Code and produced by Anthem Jackson Productions.

Bed of Stars recently released an enchanting black and white music video for “The Spell”. The track is off of Bed of Stars’ newest EP Tell Me If It’s True, available now via Bandcamp. Evan Konrad, otherwise known by his moniker, has been in the studio working on more new material for an upcoming release for early next year. He will be playing a few shows coming up this summer, including a Canada Day show in Abbotsford.

You may be familiar with Brody Dalle through her former bands The Distillers and Spinnerette, but the Australian-born singer-songwriter and guitarist has been making waves with her recently released solo album Diploid Love. The first single from the album, “Meet The Foetus / Oh The Joy”, was inspired by Dalle’s children and features Shirley Manson of Garbage. Dalle will be playing a sold-out show tonight at Venue in Vancouver.
